PRP Face, in one paragraph

PRP Face at Klinik Amisi uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood, delivered to the face by injection, microneedling or a combination to support skin repair, renewal and a brighter complexion. A session takes 45 to 60 minutes including the blood draw, preparation and numbing, with a short course planned at consultation. Downtime is usually mild, with redness or pinpoint marks that settle within 24 to 48 hours, though the microneedling option can involve a day or two of flushing.

You're not alone

Skin slows down. That doesn't mean it's done.

Stress, sun, late nights and time all slow the skin's own repair. Most women notice it the same way, with skin that looks dull by afternoon, texture that used to be smoother, marks and scars that stopped fading on their own.

Your skin still knows how to repair itself. Sometimes it just needs its own building blocks brought back to where the work happens.

Does this sound like you?

Facial PRP is explored for these kinds of concerns.

Dull, tired-looking skin
Fine lines and early signs of ageing
Uneven texture or enlarged-looking pores
Acne scars and post-breakout marks
Loss of firmness and elasticity
Skin that feels stressed or slow to recover
When it's not for you: we don't offer facial PRP during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active skin infection or cold sores in the treatment area, with a bleeding or platelet disorder, or where you're on blood-thinning medication that hasn't been reviewed. Our doctor screens all of this at consultation, and will tell you honestly if a different treatment fits better.

Three effects, one session

Every option starts the same way, with platelet-rich plasma prepared from a small sample of your own blood. What changes is how it's delivered.

01 · PRP Face

Inject

Plasma is placed by fine needle into targeted areas, the delivery designed to support deeper skin repair and anti-ageing.

02 · PRP Microneedling

Resurface

Plasma is worked into the skin through hundreds of micro-channels, pairing repair with an overall brightening across the face.

03 · PRP Plain Tube

Refresh

A straightforward plasma application, the gentlest way in, and often the entry option for skin repairing.

How it works

One blood draw. Three ways to deliver it.

It always begins with a small blood draw from your arm, just like a routine blood test. While a centrifuge separates the platelet-rich plasma, topical numbing is applied. Then it comes down to your option: injected into targeted areas for deeper repair, worked in through microneedling channels for repair and brightening, or applied as a plain-tube treatment for a gentle first step. Our doctor recommends which suits your skin at consultation.

What recovery really looks like

Your week after treatment.

Same day Walk out, carry on

Mild redness or pinpoint marks are normal. The microneedling option can leave the skin flushed for the rest of the day. Skip heavy makeup.

Day 1–2 Let it settle

Redness and any small marks soften. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and very hot showers for 24 hours.

First week Be gentle

Skip strong actives, exfoliants and facial massage for 48 hours. Daily SPF 50+ from day one, especially after the microneedling option.

The weeks after It keeps building

As your skin responds to its own growth factors, texture, tone and freshness build gradually. Individual results vary.

Facial PRP is often taken as a short course spaced a few weeks apart. Your doctor plans the number and timing with you at consultation. No fixed packages, no pressure.

Questions, answered plainly

What women ask us most.

What is PRP for the face?
Facial PRP is a treatment that uses platelet-rich plasma prepared from a small sample of your own blood. After the draw, the sample is placed in a centrifuge to separate the plasma fraction that carries a higher concentration of platelets and their growth factors. That plasma is then delivered back into your skin, by injection, through microneedling, or as a plain-tube application, to support the skin's own repair and renewal. Nothing from another person, and no synthetic material, is used.
Which PRP option is right for me?
It depends on your skin and your goal, and our doctor confirms it at consultation. PRP Face (injection) places plasma into targeted areas and is generally chosen where deeper skin repair and anti-ageing are the focus. PRP Microneedling drives plasma across the whole face through micro-channels, pairing repair with an overall brightening. PRP Plain Tube is a straightforward plasma application, often the entry option for those wanting a gentler first step focused on skin repairing.
What is the difference between PRP Face, PRP Microneedling and PRP Plain Tube?
All three use the same platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood; the difference is how it is delivered. PRP Face uses fine-needle injection into specific areas. PRP Microneedling combines the plasma with a microneedling device that creates micro-channels across the skin. PRP Plain Tube is a simpler, gentler application. Your doctor will recommend which delivery suits your skin, concerns and comfort level.
Is it really made from my own blood?
Yes. A small volume of blood is drawn from your arm in the same way as a routine blood test, then processed in a centrifuge in the clinic. Only the platelet-rich plasma fraction of your own blood is used. There is no donor material and no synthetic implant.
Is the treatment painful?
Topical numbing cream is applied before the session to keep the experience comfortable. Most patients describe mild stinging, pressure or a light scratching sensation depending on the option chosen. The blood draw itself feels like a routine venipuncture.
How many sessions will I need?
Facial PRP is usually planned as a short course, with sessions spaced a few weeks apart to allow the skin to respond and recover between visits. The specific number and timing are recommended by your doctor after assessing your skin. There are no fixed packages you have to commit to upfront.
